So friends I must say that it's not un-common for worship leaders to be asked to teach on worship from time to time. It's probably something that I've been asked to do a dozen times over the past many years of working for the church, but this one talk on worship has quickly become my favorite.
As many of you know, we've been in a series that surrounds the scene of Peter's walk on water. And the point of worship that we'll look into is this worship that the disciples lavished upon Christ as he entered the boat and the waves and wind immediately calmed down.
I love this scene of worship. Sometimes it think it's those scenes in our lives when we are scared, wet, and have been recently saved by God himself that we find the most pure & meaningful. Here's a copy of this weeks sermon text. Feel free and print off a copy, bring it in and follow along. If your too far away to make it in tomorrow, just use this as your devotions. Find Park Chapel's podcast on itunes and let me know your thoughts on it all.
